Where things stand
MyCodeShare is in early access. You can create an account, invite your team and set up the business accounts (“sources”) you want codes for. The shared phone number and email inbox that receive codes are not switched on yet. This page will say exactly what they collect before they go live.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email address, password (stored hashed by our sign-in provider) and the business name you sign up with.
- Your team: the name, email and role of each person you invite, and which sources each one may see.
- Sources: the name of each business account you add and the sender details you give us to recognize its codes.
- Codes and the audit log: any code stored in your account, and a record of who viewed which code and when.
- Sign-in records: sign-in times and the internet (IP) address they came from, kept by our sign-in provider for security.
No analytics. No advertising. No tracking pixels. The site sets only the cookies that keep you signed in, and its fonts are served from our own site.
How we use it
To run the service for your business: sign you in, show each person the codes they're allowed to see, keep the audit log, and answer support requests. We never sell personal information or share it for advertising.
Who processes it
- Supabase: database and sign-in, in the US.
- Vercel: hosting, in the US.
Beyond them, we share data only when the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or if the business is sold, in which case this policy travels with the data.
How long we keep it
Account data stays while your account is open. Want it gone? Email scott@vsbie.com to close the account, and we delete your account, team, sources, codes and audit log within 30 days.
Your rights
Ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Email scott@vsbie.comfrom the address on your account and expect an answer within 45 days. If your employer invited you, we may pass the request to your employer's account owner.
Children
MyCodeShare is a business tool for adults. It isn't meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
A change that matters moves the date at the top, and account owners get an email first.
